      Kara MacGregor, Siebel School of Computing and Data Science Graduate Program Coordinator and Senior Academic Advisor, is the 2024 ISSS award recipient for Outstanding International Advocate. This award recognizes a university employee who has provided excellent service to international students and scholars.

    • 11/13/2024

      CS professors Ramnatthan Alagappan and Aishwarya Ganesan, working together with PhD students  Xuhao Luo, Shreesha G. Bhat and Jiyu Hu , won a Best Paper Award at SOSP 24 November 4-6 in Austin, Texas for "LazyLog: A New Shared Log Abstraction for Low-Latency Applications."

      MCS in Chicago student Ayesha Kazi, and the ASL Aspire online educational platform are finalists in the P33 TechRise competition. ASL Aspire teaches STEM to K-12 deaf and hard of hearing students and their teachers through games.
