Fábio Ayres is an adjunct professor at Insper, and is involved in the development of engineering courses. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada. He was a postdoctoral fellow in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary, research associate at the National Research Council of Canada, a software engineer at Opal-RT Technologies, Canada, and at Google. He is interested in computer vision, machine learning, image processing, information retrieval, and  high-performance computing.
