Jayanth Shenoy
Jay is a PhD candidate at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign CS, advised by Prof. Deepak Vasisht. His research interests broadly involve wireless systems, signal processing, and machine learning. His work aims to design novel techniques for satellite networking and Earth observation image analysis. He's also interested in security and privacy against wireless sensing. Additionally, he has interned with the Networking Research Group at Microsoft Research in summer 2022. Before coming to UIUC, he received his BS in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin, where he worked on visible light communication with Prof. Christine Julien.
