Sophia Yang

Sophia is a highly motivated and dedicated PhD candidate deeply committed to advancing the area intersection between Computers & Education and Database Systems. Her research aims to identify and address the unique challenges that students face when learning SQL, and she has utilized various algorithms and techniques to extract insights and provide recommendations for improvement. As a result of her research, Sophia has published several first-authored papers in top conferences. She is passionate about including diversity, equity, and inclusion in both her teaching and research endeavors.
