Federico Cifuentes-Urtubey

Federico is a PhD Candidate researching wireless network privacy in Wi-Fi protocols with Professors Robin Kravets and Deepak Vasisht. While at Illinois, he interned at Apple, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and Sandia National Labs. He also served as the Graduate Ambassador in the SHPE chapter on campus between 2018-2022 to support and maintain a community of Hispanic and Latin American graduate students in engineering. Federico earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2018.
