Joanna Huang
Joanna is a 3rd-year undergraduate Computer Science student, double minoring in Disability Studies and Interdisciplinary Health Technology She is passionate about accessible computing and assistive technology and seeks to support people with disabilities to live with increased independence. Currently, her research aims to implement autonomous robotic capabilities for completing independent activities of daily living to Stretch RE1 with Dr. Olatunji, Dr. Mahajan, and Dr. Angrave. Previously, she served in the ClassTranscribe and ScribeAR research groups. Joanna is also passionate about CS outreach, inclusivity, and mentorship, and is also involved with Reformed University Fellowship as a Community Group and Ministry Team Leader. She also is an NCWIT 2023 Collegiate Award Finalist.
