Federico Cifuentes-Urtubey
Federico Cifuentes-Urtubey is a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research develops wireless system privacy enhancements for Wi-Fi protocols. While at Illinois, he interned at Apple, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and Sandia National Labs. He led initiatives to build community among graduate students in B[U]ILT, and he served as the Graduate Ambassador in SHPE to support Hispanic graduate students in engineering. He has also been recognized by the Department of Computer Science as an Outstanding Teaching Assistant. Federico earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2018.
