Utkarsh Sharma

Utkarsh Sharma is a graduate researcher at the Molecule Maker Lab Institute (MMLI), University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing his Master’s in Computer Science. He created EquiCat, an equivariant graph neural network that predicts enantioselectivity in asymmetric catalysis using limited labeled data. His work earned the Best Poster Award at MMLI’s Scientific Poster Competition. Utkarsh is passionate about building intelligent, data-efficient systems that drive AI-powered discovery in catalysis and molecular science.
