Saniya Sanders

Saniya Sanders is a freshman in the school’s selective ARISE program, currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science. She is a recipient of the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (AiC) High School Award and is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. Saniya is especially interested in research at the intersection of computer science and biology, with a focus on computational bioinformatics and computational biology. She hopes to contribute to improving cancer screening and diagnostics through the power of computation.
