Tomoyoshi Kimura

Tomoyoshi (“Tommy”) Kimura is a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Tarek Abdelzaher. His research focuses on cyber-physical system intelligence, developing methods that bridge physical sensing and AI to enable robust, real-world decision making. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from UIUC, with prior work in multimodal learning for IoT sensing systems.
