Tarang Pande

Tarang is a freshman Computer Science & Philosophy major at UIUC. He is being recognized for his HackIllinois project, Open Reality, a spatial AI platform that received the Modal Track, Best Use of Gemini API, and Most Creative awards along with being a member of the CS STARS program at UIUC. Additionally, he conducts research with a CS Professor at UIUC as an undergraduate research assistant and has published five papers in venues including IEEE and Springer Nature. His interests include distributed systems, AI infrastructure, machine learning, probabilistic modeling for genomics and drug discovery.
