Emily Tran

2024 Distinguished Alumni Service Award

As an undergraduate, Tran served as President of Women in Computer Science and was a founding member of HackIllinois. After graduating from Illinois with a B.S. in Computer Science, Tran went to Microsoft for seven years and became a Senior Program Manager on the Office team. With the rise of web3, she went to work at a start-up called Genie in the crypto, NFT, and blockchain space.
