Saman Zonouz

2025 Early Career Academic Achievement Alumni Award

Saman Zonouz received a PhD in Computer Science in 2011. His advisor at Illinois was professor William M. M. Saunders, who is currently the Dean of Engineering at Carnegie-Mellon University. Zonouz is a professor at Georgia Tech with joint appointments in the School Cybersecurity and Privacy and School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and directs the Cyber-Physical Systems Track, GTPE. His research interests are cyber-physical security and privacy, embedded/IoT intrusion detection and response, and trustworthy and efficient artificial intelligence.
