Bruce Ge

2025 Distinguished Alumni Service Award

Bruce Ge received an MS from Illinois in 1999, where he was a research assistant in the I-Acoma group. Upon graduation, he went to work as a Senior Data Engineer at Siebel Systems and continued as a Principal Software Engineer after Oracle acquired Siebel Systems in 2005. In 2007, Ge started the online job advertising platform for employers, Talroo, Inc. After launching the first three iterations of Talroo's products, he setup a new management team, transitioning to Chairman of the Board. He remains an engineer recruiter and trainer there. Ge is passionate about history, physics and poker. There’s plenty of all three happening now to hold his interests.
