CS professor Sharifa Sultana, CS Ph.D. student A.T.M Mizanur Rahman and Syed Ishtiaque Ahmed received an Honorable Mention Award for Data Repair at ACM CHI 2026. The work stood out for its originality, rigor, and potential impact on the field of human-computer interaction. The contribution of the work is in showing that current AI systems embed global assumptions that do not align with local needs.
