Official Description
Provides a deep understanding of the fundamentals of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) systems through practical experience implementing these extended reality (XR) systems. Topics covered include visual and audio display technology, tracking, human perception and psychophysics, building user interfaces for XR applications, and analyzing XR experiences. Course Information: 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CS 128; one of MATH 257, MATH 225, MATH 227, MATH 415, MATH 416, ASRM 406 or BIOE 210.
