Official Description
Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in computer science intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.
Section Description
Conceiving, designing, performing, analyzing data and reporting the results of experiments in HCI contexts and evaluating interactive technologies in engineering. Topics include defining the research question, selecting experimental objects, tasks, and participants, the ethical protection of subjects, selecting an experimental design, threats to validity, the collection and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data, and reporting experimental research in publications. Prerequisite CS 225.
