Official Description
Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in computer science intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.
Section Description
Advanced computational topics in robotics
A graduate survey course on robotics, focusing on mathematic foundations, algorithms, machine learning, and integrating software and hardware systems. Lecture topics will include physics simulation, collision checking, motion planning, probabilistic filtering and tracking, 3D perception, and robot learning. Students will read current academic papers and carry out a semester-long, team-based project.
Special restrictions: no limits on CS and non-CS enrollment. Prerequisite CS 225.
