Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in computer science intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.
Section Description
The Internet of Things (IoT) provides connectivity of sensors and actuators using packet networking. This course considers the development of IoT in homes with particular attention to threats to security and privacy. Students will gain familiarity with the relevant research literature and develop a research project.
Pre-requisites: knowledge of computer security and privacy.
