How did you get interested in Computer Science?
After the pandemic, I came to the realization that acquiring soft skills was essential, given my background in engineering I believed that pursuing a degree in computer science was the most suitable option for me.

What social interests matter to you?
Feeling like you're a part of a community is crucial. It can give you motivation and make you feel loyal when you have a connection to the place through people, like friends at a club, colleagues at work, or fellow students at university. A positive community makes a healthy environment that encourages productivity. So, it's important to be a part of a thriving community for a happier and more fulfilling life.

What is your most impactful iCAN experience?
During my participation in iCAN, I experienced numerous moments that left a lasting impact on me. One thing that stood out as particularly significant was the unwavering support that I received from the program. Whether it was through interactions with instructors, advisor or fellow students from diverse backgrounds, I always felt that I was being taken care of. The program's leadership and ongoing support were truly invaluable, and played a crucial role in my personal growth and expansion of knowledge. Overall, the sense of warmth and opportunity that iCAN provided was truly remarkable.

What are your hobbies/outside interests?
I have a deep passion for exploring new places and engaging in outdoor activities, such as travelling, swimming, hiking, camping, and outdoor BBQ. I find these activities to be incredibly calming and rejuvenating, providing a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Participating in these pursuits allows me to clear my mind and focus on the present moment, which I believe enhances my productivity in other areas of life.
