How did you get interested in Computer Science?
My interest in computer science was sparked during my work in statistical analysis. The remarkable power and versatility of machine learning technologies which can process vast amounts of data accurately and quickly, caught my attention. As I delved deeper, I became fascinated with how computer science and technologies can address real-world challenges and how software products can empower people's lives. Computer science presents an ever-evolving landscape of possibilities, which drives my pursuit in this dynamic field.

What social interests matter to you?
Promoting gender diversity and equal opportunities in tech is essential for building a more inclusive and innovative work environment. I am also interested in exploring how computer science and technologies can be leveraged to educate children in computer science and prepare the next generation with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a technology-driven world.

What is your most impactful iCAN experience?
In my first semester in iCAN, I had the assignment to write a program for Blackjack game. The project was challenging because it required us to understand Python syntaxes and apply those according to the game rules. When I ran the program, I was surprised that the result looked like online games I've played before. As I worked on the project, I learned a lot about a new programming language and computer science concepts. Also, this experience significantly impacted me as it opened my eyes to the possibilities of using programming to solve real-world problems. It also gave me the confidence to pursue more advanced projects in the field and explore the many technological industry opportunities.

Movies, music, fashion design, cooking and traveling
