What are your interests within computer science?
I'm interested in computational biology and computational neuroscience.
How did you get interested in Computer Science?
I have always been interested in computer science, but my interest peaked when I started working in a neuroscience research lab. Within the research I was doing I found that there are areas in neuroscience that would benefit from having specialized computer science knowledge and allow me to do research more effectively.
What social interests matter to you?
Gender Inequality and Racial Inequality
What is your most impactful iCAN experience?
It was an eye-opening experience to be part of a diversified community that is here for one goal: to learn the fundamentals of computer science. iCAN helped me realize that computer science was not as difficult as I previously thought and that anyone can learn the fundamentals of this field.
What are your hobbies/outside interests?
Tennis, Knitting, Crochet, Hiking, Skiing
