I've always been interested in computer and technology overall, from an early age, I've been a resource for my friends and family on anything computer related. What social interests matter to you?
Financial literacy is an important issue to me. It's more than just understanding numbers but can be a tool that empowers people. Proper knowledge can help end the cycle of poverty, help people understand debt, and help people navigate with limited economic mobility.
What is your most impactful iCAN experience?
The TAs and cohort have created a meaningful iCAN experience. I've had fun getting to know everyone and it's encouraging to have a community through iCAN. The TAs really care and spend many hours past their obligated hours to ensure that we are successful. The professors will make time for you not only academically but personally as well and work to be engaging to ensure a sense of belonging.
