Biography
Anthony Pineci is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed his B.S. in Computer Science and Math at the California Institute of Technology and worked for several years as a data scientist on logistics and supply chain projects for the Air Force. His research interests are in optimization problems with real-world application, such as those in operation research or economics. His current research explores proving theoretical guarantees for algorithms in online inventory control.
