Biography
Jayeon Yi is a rising second-year CS PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign advised by Prof. Minje Kim. His research interests include representation learning for speech, audio, and music. He has also worked on music generation, source separation, channel coding, and traditional image/video compression. In his spare time, he digs for good music, and occasionally makes some himself.
