Biography
Hi! I’m Neil, a second-year PhD student in computer science. My research primarily focuses on geometric deep learning, including generative modeling on Riemannian manifolds and non-Euclidean foundation models, with applications in the natural sciences, such as protein synthesis. More broadly, I’m interested in developing models and algorithms that can better leverage the underlying structure of datasets, particularly in real-world settings. I have also worked on generative recommender systems and language modeling. Outside of research, I enjoy playing tennis, going on road trips, and am also interested in reptile conservation.
