Biography
Rahul Ramachandran is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Saurabh Gupta. His research focuses on dexterous robotic manipulation, particularly sim-to-real transfer for contact-rich tasks. Before UIUC, he completed his B.Tech at IIT Hyderabad, where he received the President of India Gold Medal, and was a research intern at EPFL, where he co-authored work on evaluating multimodal foundation models on computer vision tasks.
