Reasoning Models, Foundation Models

Biography

My research focuses on advancing robotics foundation models, task and motion planning, reasoning models, and embodied agentic systems. I work on a hierarchical "System 2" world model that enables agents for long-horizon task planning and object rearrangement, and reasoning models for solving complex, non-monotonic physical world problems. My recent work includes developing an uncertainty-aware LangGraph multi-agent system for human-robot dialogue and for robust affordance reasoning during cluttered manipulation tasks. Drawing from a multidisciplinary academic foundation with advanced degrees in computer science, management, product innovation, and clinical medicine, Sherry brings a versatile, data-driven perspective to her research. Currently, I am an Applied Scientist II intern at Amazon Fauna Robotics.
