How did I get interested in Computer Science?
My first introduction to computer science was in fourth grade when my school had us try Scratch. We had to make a labyrinth game, and this sparked my curiosity about how all my other games were made. I remember being fascinated by the idea that I could create something interactive that others could play and enjoy. The more I learned about computer science, the more I realized the endless possibilities beyond game development. I now enjoy computer science because of its potential to solve problems and enrich peoples lives.
What social interests matter to me?
I also believe equal access to education is essential for everyone regardless of their background. Everyone should have the opportunity to pursue knowledge and develop their skills, as education drives social progress and innovation.
What is my most impactful college experience?
The most impactful college experience so far has been the CodeAda hackathon as I was able to meet an amazing group of people while also branching out and learning new skills while also applying them in just a couple days.
These are a few of my favorite things!
Hiking, reading, pickle ball, bouldering, baking and hanging out with friends!
