My research interests include the protection of data privacy, AI ethics, and AI for social good.

Project Title

How did I get interested in Computer Science?
When I was in 5th grade, I joined a Minecraft Coding camp where I became fascinated with programming and its many applications. I pursued programming through Game Development, Web Development, Cybersecurity, and Machine learning. I found my true passion for Computer Science in programming AI applications and am looking forward to exploring more ways to utilize programming to improve our world.

What social interests matter to me?
I have always had a profound interest in broadening the world's perspective and encouraging communication using technology. I have a particular regard for machine learning in enforcing cybersecurity, user privacy, and unbiased media. I strive to find new ways to combat online polarization through the use of artificial intelligence.

What is my most impactful college experience?
My most impactful college experience so far has been leading and performing in the Asian American Association Fashion Dance Show last year. I had the privilege of experiencing diverse cultures, stories, and styles while meeting many unique and talented people.

Biography
Eunice Mok is a Sophomore in Computer Science. She was born and raised in the Bay Area, CA and has a particular passion for AI, LLM, and Data Mining. In her free time, Eunice loves to stay active through dancing, hiking or running. At CS STARS, she hopes to explore new ways to use AI to identify bias in the media and reduce social polarization.
