Project Title
How did I get interested in Computer Science?
I discovered my passion for computer science through my internship at Lawrence Berkeley Lab coding network flow visualizations. Through collaborative problem-solving and the visual storytelling process, I discovered I enjoyed the logical puzzle that computer science presents and the creative challenge of clearly communicating the message behind data. I love that computer science combines creativity and logic.

Education, health, and human interaction with technology
What is my most impactful college experience?
My most impactful college experience has been all the memories made and the community I have found in RUF, the campus fellowship I attend. Finding close friends to grow with has made college so enjoyable.

Hello I'm Janine! I'm studying Computer Science and Economics at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and I'm interested in human-computer interaction and UX design fields. Previously, I have worked on projects in data visualization, machine learning, and user experience design.
