Project Title
How did I get interested in Computer Science?
I first got interested in Computer Science my Sophomore year of high school when I took a course that allowed me to create my own songs with the help of python. I immediately loved the creativity and logic behind code. What was also fascinating was how people can come to the same final product but have extremely different and unique code.
What social interests matter to me?
I am very adamant about women's reproductive rights, unequal opportunity for marginalized communities, and bridging the gender gap in STEM.
What is my most impactful college experience?
My most impactful college experience so far would definitely be having the opportunity to meet and network with inspiring students and faculty at UIUC. I am particularly grateful for the women I met at UIUC's Society of Women Engineers organization where I found a community of like minded, driven individuals who encouraged me to explore my passions in and out of the classroom.
These are a few of my favorite things!
I always find myself cooking, baking, trying out new hobbies, and spending my time with loved ones!

Biography
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL where I attended Lane Tech College Prep. Throughout high school, I was on the Cross Country team that taught me the importance of having patience and dedication. I have always had a love for food, and with more free time because of COVID, I realized I really enjoy cooking meals for my family. I am excited to bring my passion for helping people through the application of computing to CS STARS!
