How did I get interested in Computer Science?
I started programming in middle school by taking a robotics class, where I also did Hour of Code. I liked coding so much that I took computer science classes in high school and developed a love for the field!

What social interests matter to me?
Ethical computing, diversity in computer science, and education for all.

Why did you choose Illinois?

What are your passions outside of computing?

What has been one of your favorite experiences at Illinois that you would like to share with prospective students? (For Continuing UIUC Students)

What has been one of your favorite experiences as a CS STAR? (For Returning CS STARS)

What is my most impactful college experience?
My most impactful college experience was being part of the Outreach Committee for WCS. By volunteering at Outreach events (ChicTech, Admitted Women's Day, etc.) and helping plan the logistics for some, I gained confidence in my ability to impact others positively. In WCS, I found not only friendships and connections but also a sense of belonging at Illinois and in computer science!
