How did I get interested in Computer Science? My interest in Computer Science began when I joined a robotics team my freshman year of high school. Seeing how software and hardware worked together sparked my interest in the practical applications of programming. This led me to explore more into artificial intelligence and computer vision applications in robotics.
What social interests matter to me? One social interest that matters to me is privacy. As AI continues to advance, protecting our privacy becomes increasingly challenging. As AI is being integrated into our daily lives, it is crucial to ensure that our personal data is not exploited.
What is my most impactful college experience? The most impactful college experience I've had is getting to meet new people.

Biography My name is Yana Rudianyn, and I live in Illinois, but I grew up in Ukraine. I am about to start my sophomore year at UIUC, majoring in Computer Science. I am interested in exploring Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence.
