How did I get interested in Computer Science?
I developed a strong mathematical foundation through years of competition experience, laying the groundwork for my interest in computer science as I learned to apply these concepts to technical applications. My longstanding passion for math and computations continues to drive my pursuit of analytical fields and careers.
What social interests matter to me?
Why did you choose Illinois?
I was drawn to the idea of exploring a new place for college as I've spent my entire childhood in California, and Illinois provides a strong education for my chosen fields of study.

Biography
I was born and raised in San Diego, California, and am currently at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign pursuing an undergraduate degree in Statistics & Computer Science, as well as minors in Psychology and Data Science. I'm passionate about any field that intersects technology, analytics, and computation. In my free time, I love ice skating, art, spending time with loved ones, shopping, and taking pictures.
