How did I get interested in Computer Science?
My interest in computer science began with handing my dad a hammer, which evolved into independently building projects. Reflecting on my enjoyment of this process, I explored computer science through classes and programs drawing parallels. As my interest turned into a passion, I embraced creativity while pursuing technological innovation.
What social interests matter to me?
Why did you choose Illinois?
UIUC offers a competitive and fulfilling computer science program that gives me the best opportunities to grow in my major. Being close to home while being in a fun campus experience made it the perfect fit.
What are your passions outside of computing?
I deeply enjoy painting and any type of art that I do in my free time as well as playing field hockey and tutoring!

Computer science student with experience in Java, Python, and Scratch through coursework, research, and outreach. Strong background in leadership, collaboration, and technical problem-solving. Passionate about using technology to improve accessibility and equity, especially in healthcare and education. Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to impactful research while expanding programming and analytical skills in a team environment.
