How did I get interested in Computer Science?
I started building keyboards in eight grade, which sparked my interest in technology and inspired me to shift toward the software behind the hardware. Through developing independent projects, conducting research, and taking CS classes throughout high school, I learned about the endless possibilities and applications of Computer Science, inspiring me to explore this field more deeply.

What social interests matter to me?

Why did you choose Illinois?
I chose Illinois because it is renowned as one of the best CS programs in the nation. UIUC offers a wide range of opportunities, both academically and socially, but UIUC special to me because of its unique college town in Chambana, which is an amazing place to both live and learn.

What are your passions outside of computing?
Volunteering at local summer camps or organizations has always brought me joy because it feels deeply rewarding to show up for others and watch them grow. This spirit also carries into my academic life, where I am driven by a genuine passion for learning and desire to push myself.

What has been one of your favorite experiences at Illinois that you would like to share with prospective students? (For Continuing UIUC Students)

What has been one of your favorite experiences as a CS STAR? (For Returning CS STARS)

What is my most impactful college experience?

These are a few of my favorite things!
Wushu, being outdoors, taking pictures, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and getting boba!
