How did I get interested in Computer Science?
I first developed an interest in computer science when my dad taught me how to make a tic-tac-toe game using Python.
What social interests matter to me?
Why did you choose Illinois?
I chose UIUC because it offered everything I was looking for in a school- a strong CS program, access to undergraduate research opportunities, and a beautiful campus! Its blended CS majors allowed me to pursue both the subjects I was interested in: Computer Science and Statistics.
What are your passions outside of computing?
My favorite school subjects outside of Computer Science are English and Math, but in my free time, I like to paint and watch movies!

Biography
I am an incoming Freshman at UIUC majoring in Statistics & Computer Science, originally from California. I have primarily explored research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and hope to get more opportunities to pursue hands-on research experience in these fields. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!
