Students and faculty from The Grainger College of Engineering at Illinois were heavily represented at the IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), held June 17-21, 2024, in Seattle, WA.
CVPR is the premier conference in computer vision, attracting more than 5,000 attendees. It is also the highest-ranked venue in computer science and engineering based on the Google h5 index.
Illinois researchers were co-authors on 41 accepted papers, including two papers selected for oral presentation (top 3% of accepted papers) and five papers accepted for highlight presentation (top 10% of accepted papers). These publications are the result of collaborations with more than 55 partner institutions from around the globe, highlighting the international and highly collaborative nature of the research program within Grainger Engineering.
