The University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign Nvidia CUDA Center of Excellence is seeking a select group of top Illinois undergraduate students majoring in EE, CompE, or CS for the 2009 CUDA Summer Internship Program. Students from other disciplines with strong programming skills will also be considered. Interns in the program will spend the summer working on projects involving massively parallel programming using CUDA-enabled Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). The internship program will start with a 2 week crash course in CUDA programming.

Each student in the program will be embedded with a research group on campus for the summer to develop GPU-accelerated code and to participate in beta testing of advanced CUDA programming tools. Some projects will also involve NVIDIA researchers. The internship includes a stipend of $3000 for the summer.

Students interested in the program should send their resumes describing their prior programming project experience to cuda [at] parallel [dot] illinois [dot] edu by May 8. Also, send questions about the program to the same email address.
