FY23 Impact Report
At Illinois Computer Science, we tackle tough scientific challenges, from computing with living neurons to exploring synergies between networking and AI and understanding the future of natural language processing. We are creating innovative pathways to computing that broaden participation, from pairing undergraduate degrees with a Computer Science minor to our 20+ interdisciplinary degree options. As Department Head Nancy Amato puts it, in 2023, “faculty and students demonstrated once again why we are one of the world’s preeminent research and education programs.”
