WIRED -- Ray Ozzie thinks he has an approach for accessing encrypted devices that attains the impossible. The Illinois Computer Science graduate (BS '79, Hon. D. Eng. '12) and former chief software architect for Microsoft says his key proposal satisfies both law enforcement and privacy purists. But according to Ars Technica, critics says it has some key shortcomings.
