Chicago Tribune -- Illinois is taking the first step toward putting self-driving vehicles on the road with Gov. Bruce Rauner's Autonomous Illinois Initiative. The state is working with universities that include the University of Illinois on a test track in Rantoul. Also covered by ChicagoInno.
