Peer Mentoring Center

Launched on October 6, 2025, the Peer Mentoring Center (PMC) was created to help students succeed both in and outside the classroom, build community among our undergraduate students, and create a welcoming environment where students feel supported in the school.

Goals

The mentor's role is to help you feel supported in the school and create a welcoming environment. Mentors will help prepare you to approach course staff, identify student organizations that may be of interest to you, provide advice regarding internships and other out-of-the-classroom experiences. Mentors can also help direct you to appropriate channels and other school and campus resources.

The PMC is not a tutoring program and the mentor does not provide the same kind of assistance that a CA or TA would. Also, it does not replace the official advice of your advisors in the school.

Hours and Location

Located in Siebel 1214, the Center is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays through December 9, 2026. (It will be closed Labor Day, September 7, and the week of Fall Break, November 21-29.)

Mondays - 5:00pm-8:00pm
Tuesdays - 5:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesdays - 5:00pm-8:00pm
Thursdays-5:00pm-8:00pm
