Biography
Gustavo is an undergraduate Computer Science student at Insper with interests in machine learning, computational biology, and algorithm design. His previous work spans data science, genomics, quantitative finance, and computer vision. He has contributed to projects involving genomic data analysis for cancer research, anomaly detection using vehicle telemetry, and predictive modeling across diverse application domains. During his summer research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, he is working on algorithmic problems related to Breakage-Fusion-Bridge (BFB) cycles and computational genomics.
