Biography & Research Abstract
Abstract:
For the REU this summer, I have been working as a research intern at the IDEA Lab guided by my graduate mentor Mr. Lihui Liu and faculty mentor Prof. Hanghang Tong. Currently, the application of machine learning in many domains, such as healthcare and biology, suffers a lot from the lack of labeled data, and it could be time-consuming and requires the manual work of a domain expert to collect sufficient amout of labeled data. In order to solve this problem, The research project I am working on is active learning on knowledge graph question answering, which is a promising way to train the model more efficiently with significant lower cost.
