Biography & Research Abstract
Abstract:
For the REU this summer, I have been working as a research intern at the Parasol Lab guided by my PhD mentor Irving Solis. The research I work on is focused on solving collisions in a multi-robot system and the approach for solving collisions is called interaction templates, a way of predefining collision solutions and reusing them in a given multi-robot problem.
Bio:
My name is Mike and I am a rising senior in CS + Geography & GIS. Having a combined major like this, I am passionate about exploring both fields and applying both my computer science and GIS knowledge in research. Previously I have worked as a research assistant in a GIS-related research and this summer I am focusing on a computer science related research, specifically on motion planning at the Parasol Lab, as part of my REU experience.
